What is Alukaflex made of?
Alukaflex® is an aluminum power cable that is manufactured with cutting-edge technological advances that enables superior performance.
Alu Conductor
Alukaflex’s aluminum conductor is highly flexible, fine stranded aluminum. DanCables’ Alukaflex cable is manufactured principally like IEC 60228 class 5 and DIN VDE 0295.
Rubber Sheath
Alukaflex’s outer sheath is made with black, oil resistant, CPE-rubber equivalent to EN 50363-2-1. The lightweight, heavy duty sheath is marked with a white stripe.

A safe aluminium to copper connection solution powering up to 565 A with Powerlock connectors.

Alukaflex Flexible Rubber Cable
Alukaflex® 07BN4-AF aluminum cable is available as single core leads with a rubber flexible sheath. Single core leads are available with 10-500mm2 cross sectional diameters. Alukaflex® offers users an ultra cost-effective alternative to H07RN-F copper conductors. Similarly, our solution is highly flexible, can operate with a conductor temperature up to 90°, as well as having protection for UV, ozone and oil resistance.

Alukaflex® 07BQ-AF is a single core aluminum cable with a halogen-free PUR outer sheath (LSHF). Customers can buy halogen-free cables with 50-500mm2 cross sectional diameters. The PUR outer sheath is characterized by its high abrasion cut resistance.

It is a jungle to figure out which connectorization tool, die, connector or cable lug to use on your cable. A connector allows you to get power from the distribution board and out through the cables. To terminate your connector to your cable you need a tool with the correct die. To help you choose the right combination for your cable dimension we have made a matrix chart where it´s easy to determine which tool, die and connector work together.
